Job summary

Harvard Resource Solutions LLC in Southfield, MI seeks a Corporate Accountant to support the Accounting team with month-end close and general accounting tasks under the Controller. Hybrid schedule (in office 3 days/week) with a salary range of $75,000–$80,000 based on education and experience.

Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, journal entries, billing, payroll support, and collaboration with CPA firms for sales tax returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in a corporate accounting role.
• Experience preparing, posting, and reconciling journal entries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month end close by reconciling bank and credit card accounts and posting adjusting entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly billing to ensure accurate and timely invoices.
• Coordinate with CPA firm for sales tax returns.
• Support payroll processes and post payroll entries into the system.
