Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Core Operations Manager for the Accounting Distribution & Pricing Team (ADAPT) in Irvine, CA. You will oversee fund accounting trade flow, expenses, distributions, and NAV generation in both insourced and outsourced models.

You will lead portfolio and market activities, support new fund launches, and manage non-standard events by translating requirements, risks, and options across internal teams and providers to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, asset management, financial services operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, including developing talent and leading teams through change, transformation, or large-scale initiatives.
• Experienced in fund accounting; oversight of an outsourced provider performing fund accounting, public accounting, or a CPA license is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively across functional groups to align on shared outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to stay current on industry trends and best practices, applying those insights to improve service quality and operating effectiveness.
