Job summary

Vincere is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer in Buford, GA for a direct-hire, on-site role. Responsibilities include design, documentation, programming, testing of control systems, and hands-on testing with production support.

Travel to customer sites is required 5–10 days monthly, primarily local with some overnight stays. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with industrial equipment, panel design using AutoCAD or EPLAN, and strong client communication.

Job description

We have a client located in Buford, GA that has an opportunity for an Electrical Controls Engineer.

This position is responsible for the design, management, documentation, programming, and testing of company equipment, including panel cabinets and related control systems. This is primarily an in-office role with occasional travel averaging 5-10 days per month. Approximately 80% of this is local, and 20% is overnight. Responsibilities include equipment design, hands-on testing and production support, programming, troubleshooting, overseeing installations, and providing customer training and demonstrations as needed.

This is a Direct Hire position required to be fully On-Site.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment
• Experience designing panels utilizing AutoCAD or EPLAN
• Strong client communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to read and develop project plans and technical drawings
• Ability to work 40-50 hours per week and travel to customer sites

Pluses:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred, not required)
• Experience programming Siemens control systems from scratch
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley and Schneider Electric systems
• Familiarity with EPLAN is a plus but not required (training will be provided)
