UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group is seeking a hands-on Controller for a mid-sized client in Michigan. The role requires extensive experience in general ledger, intercompany transactions, budgeting, and ADP payroll, with strong QuickBooks Enterprise skills.

The position is hybrid and direct hire, offering exposure to multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, and strategic partnership with ownership and leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Controller experience in a mid-sized company.
• Strong QuickBooks Enterprise and multi-entity accounting expertise.
• Experience with intercompany transactions and consolidated financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain executive responsibility for financial operations including working capital, capital expenditures, debt, taxes, budgeting, and general accounting.
• Lead all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Manage accounting and financial reporting across four entities with separate books.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare combined financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial analysis.
• Oversee payroll processing (ADP) and 401(k) plan administration.
• Partner with ownership on financial matters and special projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
