Job summary

StevenDouglas, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations across the US and Canadian segments, reporting directly to the CFO. Responsibilities include month-end close, consolidation, and leading external audits while ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance.

The role directs AP/AR/credit, partners with FP&A on BI, and oversees ERP projects and system integrations. The ideal candidate has a BS in Accounting/Finance, 12+ years of experience (manufacturing a plus)

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; public accounting + industry blend preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience and proven people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, financial statement preparation, and consolidation.
• Lead the external audit process and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.
• Direct AP, AR, and credit functions across the enterprise.
• Partner with FP&A to deliver business intelligence.
• Manage transformation projects, systems implementations, and ERP integrations.
• Build and develop a high-performing accounting team.
