Job summary

Soni is seeking an experienced Controller for a growing transportation organization. This hands-on accounting leader will build and mentor the team, drive financial reporting excellence, and partner with executive leadership to improve performance.

The Controller will oversee the entire accounting function, manage GAAP-compliant reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls, with strong potential to advance into a CFO‑level role as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting background.
• Experience leading AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and reporting operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to drive accountability.
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, billing, payroll, cash flow, and reporting.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Provide insights to improve profitability and partner with leadership.
