Job summary

Real Hospitality Group seeks a Corporate Controller to own the management company revenue cycle, close processes, intercompany activities, and treasury for NY-based entities. You will lead accounting operations, drive scalable controls, and partner with Investors’ teams on joint initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Mix of public accounting and private industry experience required; public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader at PE/real estate or financial services firms preferred.
• Experience owning a corporate/management company close, including multiple workflows, allocations, invoicing and distributions, required.
• Hands-on treasury experience: cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking administration, payments.
• Experience with accounts payable including third-party processing.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or comparable ERP.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for management company and other entities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations.
• Maintain corporate general ledger and chart of accounts in Sage Intacct; ensure integrity and timeliness of records.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, including reconciliations, allocations, billbacks, and cost allocations.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for management company and affiliates.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor management, expense reporting via Concur and corporate card programs.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts and monthly budget-vs-actual reporting.
• Prepare distributable cash calculations and support audit/tax workpapers.
• Lead external auditors coordination and audit support; improve policies and controls; drive automation.
• Support optimization of Sage Intacct, Concur, and other systems; collaborate cross-functionally.
