Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in underwriting or market facing area; or 6+ years in claims or underwriting support; or Zurich Apprenticeship with an Associate Degree and experience; and knowledge of Surety lines and guidelines.
• Experience with quotes timelines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Production and underwriting of new Surety accounts and existing business.
• Internal marketing and production to support cross-sell efforts.
• Execution of external marketing strategy.
• Adherence to underwriting rules, laws, and guidelines.
• Establish and develop agency and broker relationships.
• Operate within delegated authorities on complex assignments.
