Job summary

Crafty is seeking a Contract Specialist to add capacity and rigor to our contract operations. This is a primarily internal-facing role: you will process a high volume of contract requests, strengthen the systems that support our contract lifecycle, and train internal teams on request-processing mechanics.

Client interaction is limited to redlining support — client relationships stay with the field and commercial teams. This role does not own client renewals or amendments end to end.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of contract terminology and commercial implications.
• Ability to collaborate with others to achieve shared goals.
• Clear and concise communication across teams.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in evolving circumstances.
• 3+ years of experience in contract administration or legal operations.
• Familiarity with Ironclad, HubSpot, and Notion.
• Experience collaborating with legal/compliance teams and training non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts; provide redlining support.
• Maintain a contract database; track renewals and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Client Success, Sales, and Finance to ensure smooth execution.
• Send renewal notifications and update templates for consistency.
• Identify risks and escalate to senior management or legal teams.
• Support audits related to contracts.
• Process requests across HubSpot and Ironclad; reduce duplicate data entry.
• Maintain SOPs for renewals/amendments and deliver internal trainings.
• Support post-signature activities and coordinate with relevant teams.
