Job summary

Marsh seeks a Contract Specialist/Compliance Analyst to support the full contract lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals. The role partners with Health & Benefits teams and Legal, maintaining templates in ContractHub and driving updates with risk-aware processes.

You will manage documentation, track milestones, and escalate issues as needed while embracing AI-enabled tools in a collaborative, office-plus-hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience supporting contract administration, review, or management activities
• Demonstrated experience in project management and driving process improvement initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and potential risks
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Prior experience with compliance

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and manage contracts and related legal documentation
• Review contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal requirements
• Monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle, including tracking approvals, key deadlines, and adherence to internal policies
• Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools
• Review compliance guide, update review materials, and propose changes as it relates to changes in compliance policies
• Support compliance-related activities, including appointment paperwork, transparency requirements, data privacy matters, and other initiatives aligned with Mercer’s Greater Good framework
• Partner with Health & Benefits Operations and internal stakeholders on contract-related questions and issues
• Maintain accurate, organized, and auditable contract records and documentation
• Identify contractual risks and escalating issues as appropriate
