Job summary

Westinghouse New Stanton, PA site seeks a Contract Buyer to support a global team in achieving cost, quality, and delivery targets. This hybrid role reports to the Supply Chain Operations Team Lead and focuses on purchase orders, requisitions, and procure-to-pay processes.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 3 years in corporate operations (supply chain, nuclear or technical) and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• No experience required.
• 3 years in a corporate environment, in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear or technical areas).
• SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support our teams to promote a culture where a high quality and teamwork is the norm.
• Purchase goods, materials and components following specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Manage the procure to pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensuring payment
• Process Purchase Requisitions, Request for Quotation, and create Purchase Orders
• Monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers
• Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices
• Improve cost savings and reductions
• Collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers and company partners
• Report your achievements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Support our further development by identification and implementation of improvements
• Open mind to development with focus in areas of continuous improvement
