Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Contract Buyer in New Stanton, PA (hybrid). You will support the team to procure goods, manage the procure-to-pay cycle, and ensure timely deliveries while driving cost saving initiatives.

You will report to the Supply Chain Operations Team Lead in a global context. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, SAP experience preferred, and 3 years in corporate operations; no experience is not required for the right background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• No experience required.
• 3 years in a corporate environment in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear or technical).
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support teams to promote a culture of high quality and teamwork.
• Purchase goods, materials and components following targets.
• Manage procure-to-pay process from engagement to PO issuance and payment.
• Process Purchase Requisitions, RFQs, and create Purchase Orders.
• Monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from suppliers.
• Manage on-time deliveries and resolve PO/invoice issues.
• Improve cost savings and reductions.
• Collaborate with internal customers, suppliers and partners.
• Report achievements daily, weekly and monthly.
• Support improvements and continuous development.
