Job summary

Essex Property Trust seeks a Contract Management Specialist to oversee contract development and execution from RFx to award. You will generate contracts, manage change orders, and ensure compliance across vendors within a hybrid Irvine-based office. Requirements include an AA or BA/BS, 1+ years in contract/procurement, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Yardi/Payscan experience is preferred. The role supports multiple projects with cross-functional teams and pays a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• AA or BA/BS from two-year or four-year college.
• 1+ years of contract/procurement experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi/Payscan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute contracts and change orders per policy.
• Prepare and manage bid packages with cross-functional teams for value creation.
• Negotiate terms and ensure compliance with laws, owner specs, and regulations.
• Monitor contract execution compliance with policy and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with AP to resolve invoice and contractual issues.
