Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Contract Analyst to support contract management for construction-related projects. The role focuses on reviewing, negotiating, redlining, and administering contracts while minimizing risk and protecting company assets.

Regional responsibility includes approvals up to $1 million and collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Risk Management. The position is hybrid, based in Irving, TX, with a pay range of $32.00-$40.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of contract administration, review, or negotiation experience.
• Experience negotiating construction-related contracts.
• Knowledge of contractual terms, risk mitigation, insurance, and bonding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, redline, and negotiate commercial and construction-related contracts through execution.
• Serve as primary contact with customers on contract terms and risk provisions.
• Evaluate language and identify risk, recommending revisions to protect company interests.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Risk Management, and Legal to resolve contract concerns and obtain approvals for exceptions.
• Negotiate fair terms while maintaining customer relationships.
• Review and verify customer credit approvals for projects over $100,000.
• Execute contracts with delegated authority up to $1 million.
• Maintain contract documentation and update Salesforce with related records.
• Coordinate payment, performance, and bonds as required by contract obligations.
• Request and review COIs for contract compliance.
• Assist Risk Management with annual insurance reviews and semi-annual bond reviews.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across regions to support contracting activities.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment with high accuracy.
