Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Contracts Specialist to draft, review, and negotiate engineering, consulting, and construction contracts in a hybrid Chicago setting. You will mitigate risk, collaborate with executives, and ensure contractual documents reflect the company’s risk profile and objectives.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Occasional travel is expected; the position emphasizes teamwork and independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Draft, review, and revise contract documents including NDAs, MSAs, engineering and construction contracts.
• Assess and interpret contracts to identify risk and ensure alignment with policies.
• Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders, explaining complex issues.
• Work with executive leadership to support business goals and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise a variety of contract documents such as NDAs and MSAs.
