Responsibilities

• Facilitates sourcing and contracting of medical/surgical products, equipment, and services with end-users and GPOs.
• Responsible for ongoing vendor relationships and contract management.
• Coordinates with end-users in preparation of RFX and provides direction on sourcing approaches.
• Implements a Value Based selection process and positions the Office of Purchasing as a trusted advisor.
• Reviews transactional data to identify opportunities for better pricing and verifies outcomes.
• Coordinates contract reviews and execution and tracks processes to fulfillment.
• Reviews contracts to ensure terms align with UT Southwestern policies.
• Monitors contractors for HUB and insurance compliance per contract.
• Maintains records so contract documents are accessible.
• Compiles information and responds to internal and external audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
