Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 10 years contracting and business solutions in healthcare; significant managed care contracting and analytic experience.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and successfully conclude contract negotiations meeting financial and operational objectives.
• Coordinate with faculty, facilities, and administrative teams to identify contracting needs and payor interfaces.
• Market and develop new business opportunities through managed care contracts and build relationships with payors.
• Stay updated on federal and state healthcare policy and propose strategies for UT Southwestern.
• Oversee financial reporting in support of contracting, monitoring, and planning activities.
• Lead pricing reviews and support strategic decision making for UT Southwestern.
• Monitor contract performance, financials, volumes, and liaise with departments and payors.
• Manage analytic staff including recruitment, performance management, and training.
• Coordinate interactions with affiliated organizations' contracting staff and participate in planning meetings.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the unit.
• Participate in UT Southwestern committees and functions as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
