CareerNerds, LLC is representing a premier AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Career Associate Attorney to join its Consumer Financial Services Practice Group in a hybrid legal environment. The candidate will handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including federal and state matters, with opportunities for leadership, mentorship of junior team members, and direct client interaction.

Required are a JD from a top law school, active bar admission, 5–10 years of substantive litigation

Formación

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
