Markent Personnel, Inc. is partnering with a premier AmLaw 100 firm to recruit a Career Associate Attorney for its Consumer Financial Services Practice Group.

The role is hybrid with a nationwide footprint and opportunities to work on complex disputes for leading financial institutions. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience, a JD from a top-tier law school, and admission to the applicable bar in good standing.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA/FDCPA/TCPA advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
• Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and cases involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients in investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
