Job summary

YA is seeking a Senior Scheduling Consultant in a hybrid role based in Las Vegas, NV. You will coordinate construction schedules, perform site inspections, analyze project documents, and relay findings to clients, with a strong emphasis on independent judgment and cost management.

The role involves PM scheduling, forensic schedule analysis, and close collaboration with clients and contractors across project phases. Travel is required approximately 25–35%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• 2+ years' experience managing scheduling projects within the construction or engineering industry.
• Experience using CPM techniques to analyze project schedules.
• Experience with builder’s risk insurance policies, construction claims management, and managing contractors.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including developing schedules and updates.
• Conduct forensic analysis of project schedules, contemporaneous documentation, and construction costs.
• Perform inspections of construction project sites, evaluating project progress.
• Review and organize large amounts of construction project documents and data.
• Perform schedule delay analysis to establish causes of delays and resolve claims.
• Evaluate construction productivity and progress data, extended general conditions, and expediting expenses.
• Assess impact of project changes and schedule delays, communicating findings clearly.
• Monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors for clients across all phases of construction.
• Prepare technical project reports and maintain job files and deliverables.
• Interface with other departments, contractors, and clients regularly.
