Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager / Construction Manager II to be based in Southern California with hybrid work options. This role supports hospital and healthcare work under OSHPD/HCAI and school work under DSA, across public and private sector projects. Experience in these areas is preferred.

The position involves coordinating design and construction activities, managing budgets and schedules, and guiding architects and engineers to deliver complex programs with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of construction management procedures and industry practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages complex projects from design to close out with basic supervision.
• Coordinate program activities with client branches and stakeholders.
• Lead design management and budgeting, schedule control, and reporting.
• Oversee on-site construction oversight and contractor coordination.
• Provide direction over project schedules, cost control, and quality control.
