Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer II to be based in Southern California. This role supports the Project Manager/Construction Manager in planning, coordination and control from preliminary design through closeout, with construction administration and field oversight as core focus areas.

Ideal candidates have 2–7 years of related experience, with OSHPD/DSA knowledge and the ability to manage project documentation, scheduling, and cost tracking on healthcare, education, and public/private sector

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Experience with OSHPD/HCAI and DSA is preferred.
• EIT/CMIT/LEED credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Construction Manager from design to closeout.
• Prepare project reports and track progress.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost implications.
• Perform field oversight and ensure quality in construction.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors.
