Job summary

FedEx Group in Memphis, TN seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead infrastructure and engineering projects from conception to commissioning. You will manage budgets, schedules, vendors, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and local regulations.

Travel to job sites to coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and authorities is required. The role offers progression across three levels: Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert Advisor, each with increasing scope and responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, construction project management or related area.
• Three (3) years’ Construction Project Management experience required.
• Six (6) years’ progressive Construction Project Management experience required for Sr role.
• Nine (9)+ years progressive experience for Advisor role.

Responsibilities

• Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; identifies resources including materials, equipment, project staff, and external partners
• Contracts with Developers, General Contractors, Architectural Engineering firms, and external contractors to ensure alignment
• Oversees installation, operation, vendor testing, and commissioning of equipment systems and infrastructure
• Monitors progress against the project plan and resolves operational problems to minimize delays
• Enforces engineering standards, designs, and work specifications
• Coordinates with local jurisdictions to secure permits, meet requirements, and obtain Certificates of Occupancy
• Demonstrates engineering project management knowledge through experience
• Uses Microsoft Office and web-based applications effectively
• Reads construction documents and understands technical specifications and drawings
