Job summary

Firstrust Bank is seeking a Construction Lending Specialist for a hybrid role based in the Philadelphia area. You will manage construction loan draws, documentation, and funding while coordinating with portfolio managers and clients.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction lending, strong Real Estate Finance knowledge, and excellent communication. This position supports staffing across commercial lending objectives and daily operations.

Qualifications

College Degree Preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Construction Lending environment.
Strong knowledge of Real Estate Finance line of Business.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

Provide consistent quality customer service to internal and external customers.
Review loan draw requests for proper packaging and documentation.
Make approval recommendations for funding of submitted draw requests.
Prepare and process documents for the Construction Loan Accounting System.
Monitor disbursement records, sales pace, maturities, and budget earn-outs.
Maintain accurate servicing and disbursement file records.
Act as liaison between clients, portfolio managers and relationship managers.
Assist Portfolio Manager to monitor portfolio risk including collateral and maturities.
Advise on technical issues and determine actions for problem resolution in Commercial Banking.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and credit policies.
Review complex legal documentation for conformity to approval and accounting entries.
