EBA Engineering is proactively building a qualified Construction Inspector pipeline for anticipated VDOT work across Fredericksburg, Culpeper, Richmond, Hampton Roads, Salem, Bristol, and NOVA districts and beyond.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to use materials testing equipment.
• Windows and MS Office familiarity; project/contract management software experience.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating rough terrain.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of roadway, structure, and bridge construction/maintenance projects for quality control and contract compliance.
• Communicate inspection findings through written reports and verbal updates.
• Apply algebra and geometry to measurements and calculations.
• Use materials testing equipment to assess quality and durability.
• Maintain project records using contract management and Microsoft 365 tools.
