Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP in San Francisco is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to lead conflicts analysis on new business and lateral hires, advising firm lawyers on conflicts of interest issues. The role requires JD and 3+ years of practice, strong ethics knowledge, and the ability to draft waivers and engagement letters.

The successful candidate will work with colleagues across U.S. and international offices, manage multiple deadlines, and support compliance with professional responsibility

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must have a Juris Doctorate and a minimum of three years of legal practice experience.
• Active member in good standing in any jurisdiction.
• Strong working knowledge of professional responsibility rules.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a stressful environment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze conflicts of interest on new business and lateral hires and resolve issues.
• Advise on conflicts-of-interest issues for firm lawyers.
• Prepare legal memoranda and conduct legal research.
• Draft waivers and engagement letters; negotiate waivers.
• Collaborate with colleagues across U.S. and international offices.
