You will analyze conflicts for new clients and matters, conduct corporate research, and prepare detailed conflict reports for leadership and attorneys.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, familiarity with COI rules, and proficiency with databases like Capital IQ and LexisNexis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience, including at least one year in law firm conflicts.
• Understanding of professional conduct and conflict-of-interest rules (or ability to learn quickly).
• Experience with conflicts databases and corporate research tools (Capital IQ, LexisNexis).

Responsibilities

• Analyze potential conflicts of interest for incoming new clients and matters.
• Provide recommendations aligned with professional conduct rules and client guidelines.
• Communicate findings and next steps clearly to intake attorneys and firm lawyers.
• Generate new business requests and prepare conflict reports.
• Conduct corporate research to identify affiliations and organizational structures.
• Liaise with attorneys and staff to gather information needed for thorough searches.
• Maintain detailed documentation of conflict resolutions.
• Keep internal records accurate and current.
• Manage and prioritize incoming requests in a deadline-driven environment.
• Help refine conflicts procedures and provide guidance/training to junior staff.
• Participate in rotational off-hours coverage, including occasional weekends/holidays.
