Job summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Configuration Management Specialist to manage the release and control of engineering data, including CAD data and software, at our Bridgeton, MO facility. It offers a hybrid schedule and interaction with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.

The position requires an Associate degree in engineering or related field and 2+ years of CM experience; CAD data systems experience is desirable.

Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of relevant CM experience.
Experience with CAD data systems is desirable.
Ability to work independently under supervision.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage release and control of engineering data within PLM.
Coordinate development, implementation, and maintenance of configuration management systems.
Utilize product data management tools.
Assist in preparation of configuration management contract data submittals to established delivery schedules.
Provide support to the Product Data Manager and Engineering technical staff.
Responsible for regular reporting of progress and status.
Communicate (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required.
May analyze proposed design changes to determine the effect on the overall system.
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
