Job summary

HOA Talent in Washington, DC seeks a detail-oriented Project Manager (Operations Manager) to lead maintenance, budgeting, and vendor coordination for condominium associations. You will manage multiple properties, present financials to boards, oversee SOPs, and ensure compliance; hybrid schedule with Mondays and Fridays remote.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in property management or related field.
• Experience budgeting and presenting financials to boards or senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and bidding processes.
• Strong project management skills with multiple properties and timelines.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable with Google Workspace and PowerPoint/Slides.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• On-call one week per month (rotating emergency phone schedule).
• Must be based in or able to commute to Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Project-manage a full spectrum of maintenance activities from kickoff through completion.
• Conduct on-site property inspections and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Own and improve SOPs for core maintenance processes.
• Prepare and present annual budgets for multiple properties to boards.
• Produce monthly management reports and annual meeting materials.
• Lead associations' annual meetings and guide boards toward informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships; facilitate competitive bidding.
• Onboard and manage a growing portfolio of condo association clients.
