Rolls-Royce Corporation is seeking a Component Design Engineer to deliver robust component and sub-system designs for engines from Novi, MI, in a hybrid setup with three office days per week. The role emphasizes model-based design, manufacturing capability, and lifecycle profitability within RRMS policies.

The candidate will work within Global Mechanical Systems Capability, supporting design activities, data integrity, and supplier collaboration to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 1+ years experience for Engineer I, or Master’s degree or JD/ PhD; U.S. citizen eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years experience for Engineer II; U.S. citizen eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver design solutions for component(s), complex assemblies and whole engines with attention to safety and manufacturability.
• Address unit cost, lifecycle cost, weight, maintainability and repairs in design.
• Create and use automated and integrated tool sets and workflows with Model Based Definition.
