Rolls-Royce plc in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for component design within LibertyWorks. The role focuses on designing, producing, and testing components for major subsystems from concept through demonstration testing, with emphasis on meeting project requirements.

You will perform trade studies, develop drawings, and support testing, while coordinating technical reviews and delivering detailed technical reports.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2+ years design experience.
• MS or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is acceptable.
• Experience with NX, GD&T and FEA tools is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain security clearance and strong English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Create component requirements and trade studies to optimize hardware.
• Support detailed drawings and model-based definition for hardware procurement.
• Define limits for engine/rig testing and analyze results.
• Lead technical reviews and communicate solutions to project/customer.
• Develop technical reports and presentations for solutions delivery.
• Conduct subsystem/component trade studies for new products and architectures.
• Define interfaces and generate analysis requirements for components.
