M&T Bank is seeking a Compliance Testing Analyst II to assist in the execution of risk-based compliance testing across Mortgage, Consumer, Commercial, and Business Banking lines. This hybrid role requires in-office work four days per week with one remote day possible, at a corporate office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related curriculum with 2+ years’ relevant experience in Compliance, Audit or Risk Management, or 6 years’ combined education/experience including 2 years in the field.
• Understanding of financial services functions and regulatory landscape.
• Experience in Mortgage, Consumer, Commercial, or Business Banking lending is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with multiple levels of the organization to obtain information related to processes and controls.
• Perform compliance testing in line with department and professional standards.
• Plan and execute control and substantive testing; review testing results and identify weaknesses or exceptions.
• Document higher-level test scripts independently and meet deadlines.
• Promote risk-based testing approaches and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
