Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business related curriculum and a minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience (Compliance, Audit or Risk Management) or equivalent.
• Fundamental understanding of financial services functions.
• Regulatory knowledge related to lending activities is a plus.
• Proficiency with personal computers and common software packages.

Responsibilities

• Interface with multiple organization layers to gather information on processes and controls.
• Perform compliance testing per department standards.
• Plan and execute control and substantive testing and review results.
• Meet established deadlines and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with testing teams and management to discuss findings.
• Mentor junior team members and escalate issues when needed.
• Review test findings with management to validate issues.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements for appropriate testing.
• Document higher level complexity test scripts independently.
• Support special projects as needed.
• Multitask and manage competing deadlines.
• Adhere to risk controls and company standards.
• Understand and apply the company's risk and regulatory policies.
• Escalate risk-related findings to management when needed.
