Job summary

Specialty Dental Brands (SDB) is seeking a Compliance Program Manager and Paralegal in Nashville to lead regulatory compliance, policy development, and investigations across the organization. You will interpret healthcare regulations, design practical policies, and partner with leaders to mitigate risk while supporting day-to-day legal and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant compliance or paralegal experience.
• Experience in healthcare, dental, or clinic management environment preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage development, implementation, and monitoring of the compliance program.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare laws, including HIPAA and fraud laws.
• Draft, review, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate changes to leaders.
• Coordinate internal reviews, audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
• Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation.
• Support compliance reporting, responses to inquiries, audits, and subpoenas.
• Conduct legal/regulatory research and prepare summaries for leadership.
• Draft contracts, business associate agreements, and other documents.
• Assist with licensing, registrations, and governance requirements.
• Maintain organized compliance records and coordinate with outside counsel when needed.
• Develop and deliver compliance education and training for teams.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, IT, and departments to promote a culture of compliance.
