Job summary

USG Water Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our Legal & Compliance team. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and addressing regulatory risks across states and service centers, building an effective compliance program, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Public Policy, Risk Management, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, or contract administration
• Experience developing or contributing to a corporate compliance program
• Working knowledge of federal and state regulatory frameworks (OSHA, licensing, safety/environmental standards)
• Experience reviewing compliance documents (insurance certificates, contracts, licenses, regulatory filings)
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, mapping, and monitoring of compliance obligations under federal, state, and local regulations
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and develop corrective action plans with management
• Design and execute a compliance audit program to evaluate controls and identify gaps
• Develop and deliver training on contract compliance, anti-corruption/fraud, and subcontractor management
