Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and POST Basic Community Supervision Officer Training (BCSOT). Preferred candidates have probation/parole experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; peace officer prerequisites per Georgia POST.
• Must meet legal requirements for peace officers as prescribed by Georgia POST.
• Basic Community Supervision Officer Training (BCSOT) required.
• Experience in probation, parole, social services or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages caseloads by creating case plans and supervising in community.
• Maintains case files with background checks, testing, and reporting.
• Collaborates with counselors and treatment providers; conducts screenings.
• Interviews, testifies in court and parole hearings; conducts arrests and searches as needed.
• Builds relationships with community stakeholders and ensures compliance with conditions.
