You will manage community supervision caseloads, collaborate with treatment providers, and may be involved in interviews, testimony, and court-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and completion of POST Basic Community Supervision Officer Training.
• Must meet Georgia POST peace officer requirements.
• Preference for degrees in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, social work, or related fields plus relevant internship/experience.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages a caseload, builds case plans, and enforces probation and parole conditions.
• Prepares and maintains case files, conducts background checks, drug testing, and records documentation.
• Works with counselors and providers; conducts screenings for substance use and mental health.
• Interviewing, testimony preparation, and involvement in court and parole hearings.
