Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Enthusiasm for the Media & PR industry and a desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Previous internship experience in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and editing social media posts, blog entries, and website content.
• Monitor media coverage and compile daily press clippings.
• Support the planning and execution of media events and client activities.
• Conduct research on industry trends and potential media opportunities.
• Help manage social media channels, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers.
• Assist in maintaining media contact lists and databases.
• Provide administrative support to the PR team as needed.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and initiatives.
• Learn and apply PR best practices under the guidance of senior staff.
• Observe and participate in team meetings.
