Job summary

Method Communications is seeking a Public Relations Graduate Associate in Boston for a hybrid, paid internship lasting six months. The role is full-time, 40+ hours per week, starting January 11, 2026, with an hourly rate of $20.

As a GA you will support media relations, build briefing docs, media lists, and news scans, shadow PR teams, attend meetings, compile media databases, and contribute to creative strategy across client campaigns.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related fields.
• Interest in enterprise technology-focused PR.
• Familiarity with Google Drive tools.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Basic MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
• Excellent written, visual and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client agendas and action items; scan news for press stories.
• Coordinate press tour pitching, scheduling and logistics.
• Maintain internal documents like coverage trackers.
• Support the team in development and upkeep of speaking and award opportunities.
• Create media lists and briefing docs.
• Produce coverage reports and media clippings.
• Draft daily/weekly news briefs for clients and team.
• Monitor client news and flag relevant competitor coverage.
• Provide media insights to internal teams.
• Source and pitch rapid response opportunities.
