Job summary

North Dakota Farmers Union in Bismarck is seeking a Communications & Marketing Specialist to turn strategic goals into engaging content across digital, print, and media channels, strengthening the NDFU brand and broadening member and public engagement.

Reporting to the Communications Director, you will write and edit articles, manage social channels, update the website, and coordinate campaigns, photography, and multimedia for programs, events, and legislative priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications and marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years in communications, marketing, PR or related field preferred.
• Experience writing for print, digital and social media; Proficiency with InDesign and Photoshop required.

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing strategies set by the Communications Director to grow audience engagement.
• Grow organic engagement on social media across NDFU channels.
• Publish and refresh content on the website and print materials.
• Analyze metrics and adjust outreach to improve engagement and views.
• Coordinate photography and multimedia for events and campaigns.
• Write and edit articles, press releases, blogs, and materials advancing programs and priorities.
• Support Union Farmer magazine from concept to publication.
• Collaborate with departments to amplify programs and initiatives.
