JobFormance LLC in New York, NY is seeking a National Commercial Title Coordinator and Processor to support commercial real estate transactions in a Midtown Manhattan office. This hybrid role includes coordinating orders, reviewing documents, and assisting underwriters to ensure accuracy and insurability.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in commercial title processing, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4 years of substantive experience in commercial title processing/coordinator roles or similar.
• Experience assisting senior underwriters in evaluating complex commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Open and establish new transaction files and draft preliminary requirements for title commitments.
• Review purchase, sale, loan documents and title documents to identify title issues and underwriting risks.
• Coordinate all aspects of orders from opening to closing and maintain timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist senior underwriters by gathering and organizing documentation for underwriting decisions.
• Order and review due diligence items including title searches, lien reports, UCCs, and tax certifications.
• Prepare title commitments, preliminary reports, endorsements, and final policies per standards.
• Work with escrow officers and closing teams to clear title requirements for closing.
• Provide administrative support for underwriting projects and process improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand underwriting knowledge.
