Fortis Bank is seeking an Associate Commercial Portfolio Manager to support underwriting and loan servicing for a portfolio of commercial clients. The role emphasizes detailed financial analysis, cross-functional collaboration with Bankers, Portfolio Managers, and Relationship Managers, and preparing comprehensive credit narratives.

The ideal candidate will handle multiple tasks with precision, work under pressure, and maintain discretion while contributing to client meetings and ongoing loan

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of relevant banking/financial services experience.
• Proven ability to work with complex systems and adapt to new technology.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Bankers and Portfolio Managers in managing a portfolio of commercial clients.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide assistance with banking products and services.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments (Credit, Treasury, Operations).
• Conduct financial analysis of borrowers and guarantors, including financial statements and tax returns.
• Complete global cash flow computations, calculate performance ratios, and analyze multi-year trends.
• Prepare high-quality credit narratives detailing borrower background, risks, mitigations, and policy exceptions.
