Job summary

WesBanco Bank, Inc. in Cincinnati is seeking a Commercial Closing Officer to manage loan closing, due diligence, and document control for Commercial loans.

You will ensure that the loan structure and terms comply with credit approvals and bank policies, coordinating with the Commercial Associate Banker and outside counsel to resolve issues. This full-time, hybrid role requires a High School Diploma or GED and banking experience; familiarity with LaserPro, Capitalstream, and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Previous office related experience required.
• Minimum of two years relevant banking experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial lending systems and loan documentation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the integrity of the loan closing, due diligence, documentation, loan booking and closing files for assigned customers and Commercial loans.
• Ensure loan structure and terms conform to credit approvals and bank policies.
• Identify and mitigate exceptions and ensure closing requirements are in place.
• Coordinate closing portfolio for Commercial loans with sound risk and credit management practices.
• Review loan documents and work with outside counsel to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare loan modification documents in accordance with policy.
