Job summary

OneDigital Investment Advisors LLC is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager for a hybrid role based in Rochelle or Sycamore, IL. The successful candidate will support the Account Executive, build client relationships, and handle binders, invoices, endorsements, and premium audits with accuracy and care.

The role requires 2-3 years in insurance, solid P&C basics, and proficiency with MS Office and modern agency systems. Travel is modest and the team values teamwork and client service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of insurance experience.
• Basic knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance coverage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn Applied/Epic or use these programs.
• Adobe Acrobat knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Executive in marketing and servicing clients within the account team.
• Build relationships with clients and answer basic insurance questions.
• Maintain appropriate business contact with client.
• Assist with issuing insurance binders.
• Process invoices for new and renewal policies.
• Process change requests and endorsements with carriers.
• Check and invoice premium audits and explain variances to clients.
• Update the system and shared drive to reflect changes during coverage term.
• Order loss runs for renewals and prepare loss summaries.
• Generate IDs and certificates of insurance.
• Complete surplus lines filings.
• Submit preliminary policy changes to underwriters.
• Renew binder extensions and follow up on open activities.
• Obtain premium finance quotes and NFIP flood zone determinations.
