Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in commercial credit or lending.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices, credit analysis and financial statement review.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a portfolio of commercial banking relationships.
• Analyze credit history of applicants and determine loan repayment capabilities.
• Obtain customer financial reports and appraisals; document collateral values.
• Facilitate negotiation of credit terms, loan repayment methods and collateral specs.
• Partner with lenders to facilitate loan closings, renewals, modifications and portfolio reviews.
• Assist lenders with customer-call research, loan participations, and past-due/maturing loans management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service quality and loan administration.
• Represent Monson Savings Bank at community events.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and services, supporting department goals.
