Commercial Alliance is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our Troy, MI team on a hybrid schedule. You will assess creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, analyze financial statements, and prepare credit memos with recommendations.

The role requires attention to detail and ability to interpret contracts and leases. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and 2+ years of credit analysis experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Previous experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or risk management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and contracts.
• Knowledge of financial markets and credit risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Regulatory awareness in credit risk management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Spread, review, and analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral.
• Prepare and underwrite credit presentations for recommendation.
• Review loan packages and monitor compliance with credit policies.
• Evaluate risk when extending credit based on income, debt, and payment history.
• Monitor existing credits for performance and covenant compliance.
• Keep informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.
