Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join a relationship team in Seattle, supporting sales and credit functions for loans under $10 million. You will collaborate with relationship managers, loan closers, and underwriters to assemble pitch materials and manage the lending process while ensuring data integrity in Salesforce and nCino.

Responsibilities include due diligence, document collection, ROE analysis, and preparing loan documentation aligned with credit memos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field (required).
• 2 years of commercial banking experience (credit structuring & analysis, sales functions, risk assessment).
• 2 years in Credit Structuring & Financial Analysis (required).

Responsibilities

• Work with relationship managers, loan closers, and underwriters for credit commitments under $10 million.
• Create pitch materials for prospects/clients regardless of credit amount.
• Lead/d l due diligence meetings to understand clients' business and industry.
• Review loan requests under $10 million to determine required documents and financial statements for loan approval; collect/upload items to Salesforce.
• Complete lending tasks like reviewing financial statement spreads and ROE analysis.
• Prepare preflight memo for deal team discussions ensuring accuracy of loan request details.
• Enter data in nCino for new loan requests/ renewals/ modifications and submit for underwriting.
• Review final credit approval memos for accuracy and coordinate with closers/ outside counsel for loan docs.
• Ensure loan terms are consistent with credit memos and manage waivers, amendments, extensions appropriately.
• Collaborate with Credit Surveillance to ensure timely relationship reviews.
• Perform portfolio data integrity reviews and ensure risk ratings/loan data are accurate in systems.
