Rize Federal Credit Union is seeking a compassionate Temp Collector in Loss Prevention to help members resolve past-due balances. You will negotiate repayment plans, evaluate loss mitigation options, and uphold regulatory compliance in a hybrid in-office/remote setting.

Responsibilities include account management, member support, and precise documentation of interactions. Prior debt-collections experience and knowledge of FDCPA and Rosenthal Act are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of collections or related field, preferably at a financial institution.
• Familiarity with the FDCPA, Rosenthal Act, and other relevant laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Discretion with sensitive information.
• Ability to work in hybrid remote/in-office environment.

Responsabilités

• Account management: monitor delinquent accounts and communicate with members to discuss status and terms.
• Member support: provide compassionate service and resources for financial hardship, educate on credit management.
