Job summary

S&ME, headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Collections Specialist to support company-wide collection efforts. This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with the Finance team and remote work flexibility.

You will pursue collections on past-due invoices, document activities in AEC360, coordinate with project managers, and assist with daily cash receipt processing while upholding accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service and collections experience required.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pursue collections by contacting clients on past-due invoices and coordinate with project managers to resolve issues.
• Document all collection activities and client interactions in the Credit and Collections module for transparency.
• Follow up regularly with project managers and clients until invoices are paid.
• Provide backup support for daily cash receipts and AR mailbox monitoring.
• Escalate accounts with excessive past-due balances to accelerate collection efforts.
