National Funding in the La Jolla/UTC area seeks a Portfolio Management Specialist to manage a portfolio of funded accounts after funding, handling customer inquiries, negotiations, and loan modifications.

You will work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with a team-focused culture, opportunities for growth, a competitive hourly wage with bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 1–3 years’ experience in high-volume collections, loan servicing, or customer service.
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication; empathetic phone presence.
• Strong negotiation skills; balance customer needs with company goals.
• Sound judgment, critical thinking, and discretion with confidential information.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with timely documentation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries after funding, including balance and payoff requests and payment history.
• Respond to calls, emails, and texts promptly; manage inbound tasks for timely responses.
• Identify and escalate sensitive matters per procedures (bankruptcy, attorney representation, debt relief company involvement, complaints).
• Coordinate with Sales, Accounting, and Litigation on accounts.
• Manage loan modification requests from intake to setup within guidelines.
• Manage portfolio of funded accounts across brands; daily return payment cases.
• Reduce delinquency through outbound calls/texts and negotiate payment plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
